MILAN, Italy — 22 January 2026 — Scientology’s Volunteer Ministers have set up their iconic Yellow Tent in Milan, creating a street-level point for practical help and listening support, alongside everyday “Tools for Life” that can be applied to real-life difficulties. Previously deployed in cities including New York, London, Paris, Berlin, Madrid, Rome and Naples, the Yellow Tent is designed to let residents speak with trained volunteers and learn simple steps for communication breakdowns, workplace stress and conflict resolution, as well as support after personal emergencies.

Volunteer Ministers are local citizens trained through 19 introductory “Tools for Life” courses covering communication, relationships, study skills, workplace challenges and conflict resolution. In Italy, Volunteer Ministers have supported communities during major emergencies including L’Aquila (2009) and Emilia-Romagna (2012), and have also assisted during flooding in the Marche region (2022) and Romagna (2023), working alongside local institutions and civil protection actors to help remove mud and debris and restore access.

In Milan, activity expanded during the pandemic period with sanitisation initiatives and distribution of basic necessities.
